 Week 4: Mission Accomplished

This week marked a significant milestone in our project as we successfully completed the construction of our dual-axis sun-following solar panel. With the physical build finalized, the system is now fully assembled and ready for the upcoming bench inspection. The entire construction process went smoothly, with no unexpected issues or setbacks, allowing us to stay on track with our timeline.

Now that the building phase is complete, our focus shifts toward finalizing the supporting materials, including the project poster, blog, and presentation. These elements will be crucial in effectively communicating our work and ensuring we are well-prepared for the bench inspection. Over the coming days, we will review every aspect of the project to guarantee that we are ready to present it confidently and demonstrate its functionality.

  Introduction and Aims There's a huge demand for renewable energy as of now, with climate change concerns and the depletion of fossil fuel, there's an urgent need for sustainable alternatives. Among these, solar power is a popular method to sustain clean to clean energy. However, traditional fixed solar panels often fall short in maximising energy capture, as their stationary nature prevents them from fully harnessing the sun’s energy throughout the day.
